Since starting at Mystic Lake in 2016, I completely fell in love with the camp's programming and the opportunity to help campers discover new things about the natural world. That early experience sparked a deep passion for outdoor education that has stayed with me ever since.

Hi, I’m Trent Roush. I’ve been working in the building trades since shortly after graduating high school in 1991, and I’m proud to bring that experience to Mystic Lake Camp as part of the facilities team.
I'm excited to serve as the Food Service Director here at camp and bring my experience in hospitality and service to our kitchen team. After a fulfilling career as a special education educator, I remain passionate about creating a caring, welcoming environment—especially for our campers and guests. My goal is to provide meals that are nutritious, delicious, and visually appealing, all while maintaining the highest standards of food safety. I believe that mealtime is more than just a break in the day—it’s a chance to build community, create memories, and nourish both body and spirit.
