Financial Assistance for Mystic Lake YMCA Camp
At Mystic Lake YMCA Camp, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to experience the joy and growth that comes from participating in our summer camp. We are committed to ensuring that financial barriers do not prevent families from accessing our programs. Our financial assistance program is designed to help families in need, making it possible for all children to enjoy the benefits of our camp and activities.
How to Apply for Financial Assistance
- Register for Mystic Lake YMCA Camp: Begin by registering your child for the Mystic program online. During the registration process, you will have the option to apply for financial assistance.
- Complete the Financial Assistance Application After registering, fill out the financial assistance application by clicking here.
- This application will require information about your household income, number of dependents, and any extenuating circumstances that may affect your financial situation.
- Submit Required Documentation: Along with the application, you will need to submit supporting documents such as recent tax returns, pay stubs, and any other relevant financial information. This helps us assess your need accurately.
- Pay the Deposit: A deposit is required at the time of application. For Mystic Lake YMCA camp, a $100 deposit per child is required. This deposit will be applied to your camp fees.
Eligibility Criteria
Financial assistance is awarded based on several factors, including:
- Household income
- Number of children in the family
- Other financial obligations (e.g., mortgage, medical expenses, etc.)
- Special circumstances that may impact your financial situation
We follow the National Poverty Guidelines to determine eligibility and ensure fair distribution of funds.
Award Notification
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and families will be notified of their award status via email. Scholarships are awarded until all available funds are exhausted, so we encourage early application.
Renewal of Scholarships
Families can apply for financial assistance each year.
